The show’s title ICY GRAPE NO.1924 will be instantly recognisable by graffiti aficionados and collectors world-wide, as it is the name of THE RAREST of the discontinued, vintage American KRYLON spray paint cans.
THE FEATURED ARTISTS WERE:
STASH - The Brooklyn based master of the spraycan and fashion entrepreneur. Famous for his art, his labels, his collaborations...
FUTURA - THE undisputed Godfather of the spraycan movement.
DELTA - Internationally famous Netherlands based artist: with his graphic / architecturally inspired installations and paintings.
SNUG - UK artist who paints surreal, figurative, photorealistic pieces.
STET - London artist, who skilfully juxtaposes comic imagery with graffiti typography.
SALTER - US sculptor of Styrobots; three dimensional robots created from recycled polystyrene packing waste.
