Between
6th and 28th July 2007 the two heavy weight Brooklyn based artists
FUTURA and JOSE PARLA teamed up in London at the Elms Lesters
Painting Rooms for our sell-out PIRATE UTOPIAS exhibition.
We
were honoured to have the two legendary painters working here
in our historic painting studios for the weeks prior to the
exhibition; FUTURA painting his entire collection of works for
the show, and JOSE PARLA painting a huge 305 x 365 cm (10' x
12') site specific custom made canvas.
